READY PLAYER ONE RV EXPERIENCE (2018)

ROLE: Creative / Art Direction + Retail Design

OBJECTIVE:
WB tapped A-OK Collective to create a mobile experience with a retail component for the release of their upcoming Steven Spielberg film, Ready Player One.

RESULT:
A pop-out RV was retrofitted to become a glow in the dark mobile "Museum Of Nostalgia". The interior was fitted with complete glow in the dark treatment. Posters using the RPO characters swapped in place of original 80s films sat opposite a video projectio presentation from the film. Using LED "holographic" technology we created stands to highlight nostalgic items and easter eggs from the film. At the end of the RV the visitor could purchase film merch through retailer Hot Topic.
